Risk and Compliance Analyst
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Risk & Compliance Analyst to join our dynamic global Risk and Compliance team. In this critical role, you will help identify, assess, and manage a broad range of operational, financial, and regulatory risks across our multinational operations. You will ensure that our company maintains full compliance with international laws, industry standards, and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Risk Assessment & Management
- Identify, assess, and analyze risks affecting global operations (operational, financial, regulatory, reputational).
- Conduct risk assessments and collaborate with departments to implement mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and report on key risk metrics through dashboards and reports for leadership.
Compliance Management
- Ensure compliance with global regulations such as GDPR, SOX, FCPA, AML, and local laws.
- Monitor regulatory changes and assess their operational impact.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of compliance policies, procedures, and controls.
- Address client-specific compliance needs throughout the client lifecycle.
Internal Audit & Control
- Support internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to internal policies and external regulations.
- Assist in developing and strengthening internal controls.
Incident Management
- Investigate risk-related incidents or SLA violations and recommend corrective actions.
- Communicate findings to clients and regulators effectively.
Training & Awareness
- Develop and deliver training programs to promote a culture of compliance.
- Raise awareness of compliance standards and best practices company-wide.
Global Collaboration
- Work cross-functionally with legal, finance, operations, and IT teams on global risk issues.
- Maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and external partners.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare clear and actionable reports for senior management.
- Maintain thorough documentation of risk assessments, compliance efforts, and audit activities.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business, Law, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in risk or compliance, ideally within a multinational organization.
- Solid understanding of international regulations (GDPR, SOX, FCPA, AML).
- Familiarity with risk management frameworks and auditing best practices.
- Experience using risk/compliance software and analytics tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex issues to diverse audiences.
- Self-driven, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced BPO environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CRISC, CISA, CISM, or equivalent).
- Proficiency in a second language.
- Experience working in cross-functional, global teams.
- Project management experience is a strong plus.
